Advocate Consulting Group addresses two of the four largest causes of death in the U.S. – adverse drug reactions and cancer. By offering PGx and CGx tests, we are able to improve the lives of people who otherwise may have been negatively impacted by these causes of death. Our HIPAA certified advocates help raise public awareness about this and offer proactive solutions for both patients and doctors.

Our team of strong leaders has a solid executive background with an average of 30+ years of successful business experience in both the corporate and entrepreneurial world. The thing that sets our executive team apart from others is our desire to put our advocates, doctors, labs, and other businesses FIRST. Advocate Consulting Group aims to support, encourage, and uplift the people we are in community with. Not only do we improve the lives of people through testing and screening, but we focus on improving the lives of people on our own team.

 

EXECUTIVE BIOS

MARC SCHULMAN
CEO & CO-FOUNDER

Marc Schulman has been an international management consultant and operations executive for over 30 years. He has served as Interim CEO and in other C-Level roles for a number of his clients. He has turned around complex, troubled operations for IBM and other Fortune 100 companies as well as many other smaller companies. Marc has developed and taught curriculum on Managing Complex, Global Operations as well as People Management and Leadership to IBM operations executives and managers. He left IBM in 2002 to build his own client base, many in the medical services space.

He has coached and mentored hundreds of senior executives, managers and other leaders in the U.S. as well as in China and Vietnam. He has also built a couple large global sales teams that continue to produce solid results. Marc has also built a few companies in the medical services space, with a couple reaching significant size before their sale.

Prior to his corporate career, Marc served in the Navy from 1982 to 1986 and held various technical and management positions in the U.S. and overseas. He holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration with a major in Finance and a minor in Human Resources from the University of Maryland. Living in Colorado, Marc enjoys monthly traveling and being active, and spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.

Bud Nemeth
BUD NEMETH

Coach Bud Nemeth has been admired by people all across the globe for decades. He double majored in Advertising and Sociology, with a minor in Marketing at the University of Miami, where he also played college football. He and his fellow Hurricanes won two national championships during his tenure, and five of his coaches went on to be head coaches in the NFL. While living in the Dallas area, his Sunday School teacher was Zig Ziglar, and Coach Bud has devoted his life to being the best servant leader he can be. Many people call themselves coaches, but Coach Bud is truly the “Coach’s Coach.”

Coach Bud has built and owned several successful traditional businesses, including two restaurants, and he also built numerous large, global sales teams over the last 30 years. His success has been augmented by devoting his valuable time to creating coaching venues such as live events and conference calls, and he was one of the early adopters of online meetings and Webinars. Coach Bud is the best in the business, and he always puts the people first in every aspect of his life. Family and serving others means everything to him, and he enjoys spending time with his beautiful bride of over twenty years, as well as his three wonderful children.

NANCY DeCICCO

Nancy DeCicco has the role of business advisor for all of the ACG’s investment, accounting, financial, human resource policies, legal coordination and purchasing functions. Nancy brings to ACG over 35 years of experience providing clients with solutions to their financial, structural and organizational problems, including taxation, accounting, investment relations and human resource needs.

Prior to joining ACG, the consulting company Nancy started has grown to include a large, diverse and loyal client base ranging in size from small one-person operations to multimillion dollar corporations. Her expertise and experience includes funding related services, corporate structure and financial strategies for startups.

Nancy has served as Chief Financial Officer for InfoPort Communications Group, a broadband communications provider; Advus Corporation, a customized software integrator with offices in the U.S. and Brazil; FlickerLab, an international animation studio; Top Flight Technologies, a technology company which designs and sells drones and is currently entering into its series B funding; and a 55-million-dollar restaurant franchise group located in four states. Nancy has a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Rutgers University.

Alan Hanke
ALAN HANKE
PRESIDENT

Alan is a highly accomplished entrepreneur and investor who specializes in the Healthcare, Banking, Hospitality and Aviation industries. Over the past several decades, Alan has been responsible for the creation of some of the most successful companies and compensation plans within these industries. His knowledge and expertise in these industries has allowed him to become a highly sought-after mentor to individuals and a contributor to many industry magazines and periodicals.

Alan began his role with ACG initially as an investor and board member before assuming the role of President. His proven track record of accomplishments in planning and leading comprehensive business strategies has contributed to his unique ability to build large international companies and independent sales organizations through personal relationships and industry contracts.

Some of his main accomplishments have included driving multimillion-dollar growth and being a leader who is skilled at managing many diverse teams, negotiations, and creating successful new market startups. 

Alan also served as a Board Member at Transitional Living Services (TLS) a Veteran group which provides housing and job assistance.
